Ashcroft & District Employment Services
Ashcroft & District Employment Services provides itinerant service to Logan Lake at the WHY Office every Wednesday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. This service is funded by Service Canada to provide employment information and assistance to both workers and employers.
Funding programs are available for training and work experience for unemployed workers, youth and people with disabilities. The Counselors can help with making career changes, and finding and maintaining suitable employment. They can also arrange referrals to specialized help for people with disabilities and other special needs.
Ashcroft & District Employment Services also works with the District of Logan Lake and other community organizations to provide community projects that will benefit the unemployed.
If you are looking for work, needing to make a career change, or wanting information on employment-related programs, feel free to visit the WHY on Wednesdays. For employment counselling it is best to make an appointment in advance by call the WHY before Wednesday.
